Gary has been my coach since 2019; when I first met Gary I wasn’t a confident rider and only new to the dressage discipline. Due to my extreme disabilities Gary has to continually work out unique “and funny” coaching methods to relate to me. I am so grateful for the way he treats me as an equal and I consider him my idol and the most amazing coach. Since being with Gary I have achieved State, National and International success in Dressage and can certainly say that without Gary I would not have achieved two gold medals at the Special Olympics World Games in Berlin in 2023.

When we moved to Queensland in 2019 we did not know any coaches and a friend mentioned Gary Lung. We took our daughter Isabella for trial lessons purely for Bellas personal development and confidence on a horse. After the trials we started regular lessons and Gary has taken Bella from a person that was scared to get on her pony to now being a dual gold medal Olympian in Special Olympics Equestrian in under four years. Gary as a horse coach is amazing, however Gary as a mentor and life coach for Bella is beyond amazing as we have seen her grow into a confident person. We have nothing but praise for what Gary has brought to our family through coaching.

Gary has been teaching me since 2020. His knowledge and ability to communicate his coaching skills are why I have been able to go up through the FEI levels to Grand Prix. In the show ring it is all about looking elegant, perfectly turned out and doing great and mistake free workouts.
